A new driveway will give you more than just a safe place to park at night. In a world where space already feels at a premium, not having to go through the nightly hassle of finding a roadside parking spot will leave you feeling a little less stressed when you walk through the door after a long day at work. You will also benefit from enhanced kerb appeal, a higher property resale value and lower insurance premiums because, off-road, your car is much less of an attraction to would-be opportunists who might want to damage or steal it.
Our driveway contractors cover all locations in London, Kent, Surrey and West Sussex including the Crawley, Guildford, Horsham and Worthing areas. At EA Diggers, we specialise in block paving, resin and tarmac driveways.
We work out of Billingshurst, a central South East location.
Having a new driveway built requires a significant amount of investment from a homeowner but we believe that our results make the investment more than worthwhile. Our contractors have an excellent local and regional reputation that has been built on impeccable standards of workmanship and service.
These services include bulk excavation and all sub-base preparation work.
Block Paving Driveways
This is our premium surfacing material so, as you might expect, block paving is a little more expensive compared to resin or tarmac driveways, but the proof of quality is always obvious in our results. Block paving can give our driveway contractors more design flexibility than any other material. EA Diggers can lay you a new driveway in any shape, including circles, and we use matching kerbs and edges to give the installation a resplendent finish in a unique style.
There are numerous benefits to using block paving, which include:
You can have block paving laid in herringbone, basketweave and stretcher bond designs in an almost unlimited range of individual paver shades.
Resin Driveways
Homeowners in Crawley, Guildford, Horsham, Worthing and their surrounding areas can also have new driveways laid as resin-bonded surfaces. A resin-bonded finish sees dry aggregates added to a resin film to create a driveway with an impermeable layer, in single stones, with a rough texture that makes it especially suited to install on surfaces with a slight slope. Driveway contractors must comply with SUDS and integrate drainage or a soakaway if needed.
Resin-bound surfaces are slightly higher in cost than tarmac driveways, but the intermediate price point indicates the potential for a longer lifespan.
Tarmac Driveways
Tarmac is one of the most affordable options for a new driveway and it offers a durable surface for parking. Contrasting kerbstones can create a unique look that belies the cost of an installation. It takes significantly less time to lay tarmac driveways as it does to lay a surface in a more high-end material like block paving. You’ll be able to park on your new driveway as soon as it has cured. During the warmer months, the curing time is approximately 3 days.
Our driveway contractors also undertake repair and reinstatement work.
EA Diggers also covers the Crawley, Guildford, Horsham and Worthing areas as a surface dressing specialist for private roads, public roads and car parks.
